Description

Pastel is a beautifully versatile medium, with incredible vibrant results.

Confident application is key – once pastel has been laid on the page it can’t be lifted, however, using fixing spray (or a basic hairspray) on each layer allows you to build layers and texture and get the most out of this medium.

Pastel is seen at its best when applied to special pastel paper with has a rougher texture to catch the pigment. This pack includes a selection of paper colours and a sketchbook with black pages for use specifically with pastels. A standard cartridge book is also included for warm-ups and practise sketches.
