T,Like every other individual and business around the world, The Little Art School has been profoundly affected by the pandemic we are still in the throes of.
Our whole ethos of ‘Building Self-Esteem’ is underpinned by the relationships formed in our studio-based classes between our teachers and their students. Its just not something we could replicate through online classes so during lockdown we improvised as best we could – not to replace our studio classes but rather to offer support to not only our students but anyone by filling our YouTube channel with our Daily Draws – throughout lockdown we amassed over 100 step by step tutorials for anyone to enjoy.
These are still live, and we hope still offering some artistic relief during these un-certain times.
As lockdown started to ease, we looked forward to getting our studios opened again, this has challenging for two of our studios
Our classes are a haven for students who are looking for some time just for them, no expectations of performance just themselves and their pencil. With some adjustment to our class structure and cleaning regime we were ready to welcome students back, but only to our Ayr studio.
Space is the one thing we could not adjust and in order to comply with government guidelines we just didn’t have enough of it in our Troon & Glasgow studios.
We are delighted to now have secured a space in Dundonald that gives us the capacity to re-start classes for those in the Troon/Dundonald area.
The space is situated within the Olympic Business Park, where we have based our Little Art School HQ for the past few years. We have been fortunate enough to have been involved with the West Coast Accelerator programme housed within the business park. The management from both the programme and the business park have been fantastic in helping us secure an alternative location to deliver classes.

We will be opening our temporary Dundonald studio next week and we cannot wait to get started.
We still have a few spaces left to welcome new students if you are in this vicinity, just get in touch with us at hello@littleartschool.co.uk for more information and to book a free taster place.
