We are Celebrating 10 Years of Dementia Arts!
We are hosting an Art Exhibition at the Cutty Sark Centre in Ayr to celebrate this monumental milestone. Incredible artwork will be for sale by renounced local artists including Lachlan Goudie, Aine Divine, Catriona Millar, Peter Foyle and more.
This exciting event will take part right in the heart of the community that we serve, and doors are open to all. See the schedule below for opening times.
Schedule from 19th September – 27th September 2025
Friday 19th – Exhibition open from 10am – 2pm Artist Opening Day
Saturday 20th – Exhibition open from 10am – 4pm Plus booked intergenerational classes
Sunday 21st – Exhibition open from 10am – 2pm
Monday 22nd – Exhibition open from 10am – 4pm Plus booked intergenerational classes
Tuesday 23rd – Exhibition open from 10am – 4pm Plus Dementia Art classes for Care Home residents and Little Art Stars classes
Wednesday 24th – Closed to Public Celebrating non pharmaceutical approaches to Dementia
Thursday 25th – Exhibition open from 10am -4pm Plus Dementia Art classes for Care Home residents and Little Art Stars classes
Friday 26th – Exhibition open from 10am – 4pm Plus Dementia Art classes for Care Home residents and Little Art Stars classes
Saturday 27th – Exhibition open from 10am – 4pm Plus intergenerational classes
Our staff and students will also have work on display for purchase. This includes participants in our Dementia Arts classes in Care Homes and Community Groups around Ayrshire, who have also included some personal thoughts and stories.
