Our Taster Lesson is a relaxed and friendly introduction to drawing and painting, and a real taste of the Little Art School way. We start with pencil.
You will learn how to build a picture from simple shapes, then move on to shading and seeing tonal values, which is the heart of good sketching.
From there we pick up watercolour. Joanne shows you how to mix a wash and build a painting up in gentle layers. Your subject is a small ruined castle by the sea at Greenan Shore, right on our doorstep here on the west coast of Scotland.
So as well as learning to draw and paint, you get a little taste of our beautiful Scottish coast.
The lesson runs for ninety minutes. It includes a full description of the main course you can go on to join, look out for the code at the end of this lesson to take £25 off the £300 cost of Level 1.
